- Still life is a design trend that involves capturing and depicting inanimate objects or a group of objects arranged in a particular way, typically in a way that emphasizes their beauty, form, and texture. The purpose of still life design is to create a visual composition that is aesthetically pleasing and to showcase the unique qualities and details of each object.
- Flat lay compositions: Flat lay compositions involve arranging objects on a flat surface and photographing them from above. This technique is commonly used in photography and graphic design to showcase a collection of products or to create an eye-catching still life image.
- Isolated objects: Isolating objects from their surroundings can create a still life effect.
- Textures and patterns: Incorporating textures and patterns can add depth and interest to a still life composition. You can create a background to add visual interest to the objects in the composition.

Keyword Challenge: High Contrast
What we are looking for
- High Contrast refers to the use of colors or tones that are dramatically different or opposite from each other, like black and white, to create a visual effect that is bold and striking.
- High contrast can be used to create emphasis and to draw attention to a particular element within the design. It can also be used to create a sense of depth and dimensionality in your art.
- In photography, high contrast can be achieved by adjusting the exposure settings to create dark shadows and bright highlights. This technique is often used to create a dramatic and moody effect. You can also use shallow depth of field to achieve this trend!
- Overall, high contrast is a powerful design technique that can be used to create a bold and impactful visual composition across all content types
