Keyword Challenge: Handmade

What we are looking for

• In graphic design, handmade means creating images that are handmade or made to look handmade! You can create these images by using traditional tools and techniques such as hand-drawing, painting, or crafting, or you can digitally make them look and feel that way. Handmade emphasizes a unique, artisanal touch and often conveys a sense of authenticity and personal expression in the final design.
• Handmade images can incorporate a wide range of textures, imperfections, and nuances that add depth, character, and a distinct human touch to the overall composition.
• Try experimenting with different techniques and tones to create a handmade looking image

Deadline

• Starts at: March 1, 2024
• Ends at: April 30, 2024

Reward

• A digital badge will be rewarded upon successful completion of the challenge. Badges can not be transferred or exchanged between contributor accounts and do not have any monetary value. 

Rules

• To count towards total files, submitted content must:
  • Appropriately include the keyword “handmade” at the time of approval. 
  • Be submitted after the start date of the challenge
  • Be approved by the vecteezy review team before the “ends at” date of the challenge
  • Adhere to all Vecteezy content guidelines:
• No “keyword stuffing.” The subject, theme, or style of the content submitted with the keyword “handmade” should reflect the given keyword. Inaccurate or misleading keywords will result in files being rejected, keywords being removed, and/or can lead to the termination of your contributor account. 
• Contributor accounts must be unlocked and contributors must be in good standing to participate.

Keyword Challenge: Contrast

What we are looking for

• Contrast means the deliberate juxtaposition of elements with differing visual properties such as color, size, shape, texture, or style to create emphasis within the image
• We are looking for imagery that accurately depicts high contrast within video, photo, and vectors
• Utilizing color palettes can effectively showcase contrast. For instance, vibrant and saturated colors could be paired with muted and softer tones

Keyword Challenge: Pixelation

What we are looking for

• The design trend "pixelation" is characterized by intentionally incorporating pixel-like elements or effects into designs.
• Pixelation is often used to  evoke nostalgia, emphasize digital aesthetics, or add visual interest through abstraction and distortion.
• When creating pixelation it's important to consider the balance between the level of pixelation and the clarity of the overall composition, ensuring that the intentional distortion enhances the visual impact without detracting from the intended message or readability of the design.
