What are Submission Quotas in the Content Manager?

Submission Quotas on the Add Data page provides a clear view of the number of files you can submit in each category, within a specific period. If you do not see a Submission Quota for a category, there is not one set.

Who may receive a Submission Quota?

Submission Quotas are applied in special circumstances, when submissions have had a high rate of non-approval due to quality issues, and are intended to encourage improvements in the quality of content before more files can be submitted.

How are contributors selected for Submission Quotas?

Contributors may receive a Submission Quota based on specific criteria, including the approval rate of their previous submissions and the quality feedback received from our review team.

How do Submission Quotas work?

For each category you have a Submission Quota set, you have a maximum number of files you can submit until the quota resets.

Where can I view my current Submission Quotas?

You can view your current Submission Quotas in the right sidebar of the Content Manager Add Data interface. Here, the quotas are displayed along with the number of submissions you have left for the current period.

What happens when I reach my Submission Quota?

Once you reach the limit for a category, you will be unable to submit more files in that category until the quota resets.

When do the Submission Quotas reset?

The Submission Quotas reset weekly, on the date specified. When your quota resets, you will be allowed to submit files more files.

Can I submit files in other categories if I reach my quota in one?

Yes, reaching your quota in one category does not affect your ability to submit files in other categories. Each category's quota is independent.

What should I do if I need to submit more files than my quota allows?

In most cases, submission quotas will not be modified until content quality consistently meets Vecteezy's guidelines. If you have a special case where you believe your quota should be increased or removed, please contact support for assistance.

Once quality increases and Vecteezy's Guidlines are met for the majority of submissions, submission quotas may be removed.

How can I manage my submissions to avoid reaching my quota too quickly?

Plan your submissions carefully by prioritizing high-quality and timely content. Please understand that content that is Not Approved does count towards your submission quota.
