Keyword Challenge: Kawaii

What we are looking for

• Kawaii design is a playful and adorable aesthetic that originated in Japan and celebrates all things cute, cheerful, and lighthearted.
• Try to incorporate soft shapes, rounded edges, and expressive details like smiling faces, blushing cheeks, or animated movements that enhance the charm and personality of your subject.
• Colors like pastel pinks, baby blues, soft purples, mint greens, and buttery yellows work great to create a dreamy, sugary palette.
• Kawaii design often features charming, cute, and nostalgic vibes

Deadline

• Starts at: May 1, 2025
• Ends at: June 30, 2025

Reward

• A digital badge will be rewarded upon successful completion of the challenge. Badges can not be transferred or exchanged between contributor accounts and do not have any monetary value. 

Rules

• To count towards total files, submitted content must:
  • Appropriately include the keyword “kawaii” at the time of approval. 
  • Be submitted after the start date of the challenge
  • Be approved by the Vecteezy review team before the “ends at” date of the challenge
  • Adhere to all Vecteezy content guidelines
• No “keyword stuffing.” The subject, theme, or style of the content submitted with the keyword “kawaii” should reflect the given keyword. Inaccurate or misleading keywords will result in files being rejected, keywords being removed, and/or can lead to the termination of your contributor account. 
• Contributor accounts must be unlocked and contributors must be in good standing to participate.

Keyword Challenge: Marble

What we are looking for

• Marble as a design trend brings a sense of elegance, texture, and timeless beauty to visuals. It blends organic movement with a polished aesthetic, making it a favorite across design, photography, and video
• Marble design is often achieved by mimicking the natural swirling patterns and vein-like textures found in real stone, whether through photographed surfaces, digital illustrations, or animated effects.
• Try playing with layered textures, soft gradients, or subtle motion that replicates the flow and depth of real marble. 
• Consider using overlays or abstract compositions that highlight the natural feel of stone.
• Colors can be classic like white with gray veining or deep black with gold or try experimenting with colors like rose, green, lavender, or blue to give a modern twist on traditional marble.

What we are looking for

• Cottagecore is a trend that romanticizes rural life, nature, and the simplicity of slow living. It’s all about soft nostalgia, handmade charm, and the dreamy aesthetics of countryside life.
• Try and incorporate natural elements like wildflowers, woven baskets, vintage books, or cozy textiles. 
• Try out scenes of baking, gardening, foraging, or crafting are all perfect fits.
• Backdrops like meadows, old cottages, open windows with lace curtains, or rustic kitchen tables help capture the warm, lived-in feeling of this aesthetic.
• Designs inspired by hand-drawn florals, embroidered patterns, botanical illustrations, and soft, flowing shapes help bring out the delicate and organic nature of Cottagecore.
• Colors should feel earthy, soft, and comforting like dusty rose, sage green, warm cream, soft browns, and faded sky blues.
