Contributor Referral Program Agreement Summary

Referral Links: What You Can and Can’t Do

You’ll receive unique referral links in your Content Manager. You can share these links through various channels—but only your own. 

You must not:

1. Spam, send unsolicited messages, or violate any email marketing laws like the CAN-SPAM Act.
2. Share links on websites you don’t own, or on sites that
3. Harm Vecteezy’s reputation
4. Promote illegal, misleading, offensive, or harmful content
5. Use referral links in pay-per-click ads.
6. Use pop-ups or software that tricks users into clicking.
7. Copy or distribute someone else’s referral links.

How Referrals Work

You can earn credit for two types of referrals: Customer Referrals and Contributor Referrals.

Customer Referral 

You earn 1 Customer Referral when:

1. Someone clicks your referral link.
2. Within 30 days, they:
   1. buy a monthly or yearly Unlimited subscription (not including credits, API, business, or other excluded types) 
   2. and don’t request a refund or issue a chargeback within 90 days.

Contributor Referrals

You earn 1 Contributor Referral when:

1. Someone clicks your referral link.
2. Within 60 days, they:
   1. Get approved as a Contributor.
   2. Upload at least 10 non-AI files that get approved.
   3. Pass ID verification.

Other Notes on Contributor and Customer Referrals:

1. Only the last clicked referral link before meeting these criteria gets credit.
2. Existing customers or contributors don’t count.

Fraudulent Referrals

Referrals are considered fraudulent and will not be awarded if they involve:

1. Bots, fake identities, or otherwise false pretenses
2. Self-referrals
3. Purchases intended for refunds or chargebacks.
4. Violations of any Vecteezy agreement or policy.

If a fraudulent Referral is found, Vecteezy may terminate all associated accounts and cancel Referral Earnings.

Referral Earnings

You can accumulate Referral Earnings when:

1. Your account must stay in good standing.
2. For each Contributor Referral, you earn a one-time payment of $5 unless a limited-time bonus is offered that modifies this amount. 
3. For each Customer Referral, you earn a one-time payout of 30% of their first payment unless a limited-time bonus is offered that modifies this amount, up to $30.

Referral Earnings can be withheld or reversed if:

4. The referred Contributor’s account is closed or terminated, or required files are removed within a year.
5. The Customer Referral requests a refund or files a chargeback after 90 days.
6. The Referral is found to be fraudulent.
7. Your account is closed or terminated.

Referral Earnings are paid alongside your Contributor earnings.To get paid:

8. You must meet the minimum payout amount.
9. You must have valid tax and payment info on file.
