Quality: At Vecteezy, we look for contributors who have solid experience and create high-quality work that fits our customer's needs. This program is invite only, and you are here because you have a high quality motion graphics portfolio. Quality over quantity is what we are looking for!
Original Creator: Everything you upload must be your original creation, except for media placeholders, which you need to make sure are commercially licensed. This means all textures, images, and footage for the final download need to be your own work that you created.
Similars: Avoid reusing the same layers, parts, or ideas from your own projects or creating something that closely mimics another existing piece that you have already uploaded to us. We will not accept repeats, and similar styles have to explain what the difference is. Do not take a previously approved file, tweak it, and submit it as a new asset in the same category.
Multi-Packs: If you’ve got motion graphic bundle packs, please break them down so each file has just one effect. We don’t have different tiers for multi-packs versus single effects, so it helps us keep things consistent.
Motion Graphics Breakdown:
These are the file breakdowns that we will accept for each motion graphic category below:

What to Include in Your Zip Folder
Let's make sure your zip folder is under 10GB and includes everything needed for a smooth submission. Here’s a quick checklist of items which are mandatory:
-
Project File:
- Include the original project file (like .AEP for After Effects). This is the heart of your motion graphic and what users will work with. If you have the same project for different programs, for example if you have an .AEP and a .MOTN of the same project, we would ask that you include all file types in one project folder. Please do not upload them separately. This means that you could have many project files in the final Zip folder you upload.
-
Assets Folder:
- If your project uses external assets (like images, fonts, or audio), make sure to include all of them in a folder labeled “Assets”. It’s important that users have everything they need to work with your project. (Make sure all included assets such as fonts, images, or audio are properly licensed for commercial use. Do not include any assets that you do not have the rights to distribute)
-
Preview Video:
- Include a high-quality preview video of your motion graphic. This gives users a quick look at what they’re downloading and helps your work stand out. (Preview videos should include "Preview" in the file's title, and meet our video guidelines, to be in .MOV or .MP4 format, with a resolution of at least 1080p)
- If you have more than one file type for your project, upload only one preview video of the most simplistic version of your graphic, so that the customer can always recreate exactly what is shown in the preview in any program available. That way, if there are “bonus” effects some programs support while others do not, the customer could choose to include them or remove them to recreate exactly what is shown in the preview video.
- ReadMe Folder:
We require this to include a simple text file with any important instructions or notes. This could include details on how to customize the project, any special fonts used (and where to find them), or anything else the user might need to know. Similarly, you can also include a Tutorial Video with instructions or notes. Please make sure it's labeled Tutorial Video and be in .MOV or .MP4 format.
