At Vecteezy, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and we expect our users and contributors to do the same.
If you believe someone has uploaded content to Vecteezy that infringes upon your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please let us know by sending us an infringement notice via our online Support form.
If you are reporting a copyright infringement on Vecteezy, please provide additional information about the file or contributor profile that is suspected of copyright infringement:
- an attachment, a URL, a screen capture, or something that visually displays the original of each individual file;
- links, documents, or proof of details on copyright infringement or duplicate artwork;
Vecteezy profile or image detail page; - if possible, please also include the original file, such as a camera RAW (photo), Adobe Illustrator or .ai file (vector) as additional proof
Copyright notices concerning content posted on Vecteezy must provide clear information about the location of the alleged infringing work. For identification purposes, complete information about your copyright or other intellectual property is required in addition to your contact information (name, physical address, and email address).
What if I find my files on a different platform, like iStock, Shutterstock or AdobeStock?
Unfortunately, there isn't much support that Vecteezy can provide if a contributor is requesting removal of a contributor profile on another platform - like iStock, Shutterstock, or AdobeStock. Vecteezy is limited in terms of our actions against users on other platforms.
What we suggest for contributors who have discovered this issue on Shutterstock, is the following:
- Review the Shutterstock support page with additional information regarding next steps for a contributor who believes their content is being infringed upon:
https://www.shutterstock.com/terms/dmca-notice
- Draft an email to Shutterstock, outlining the specific instances where intellectual property has been infringed upon. Sample email below:
