Below you will find a helpful guide to assist contributors in understanding how to upload their files in the Content Manager.
Upload
To upload assets to Vecteezy you must have an active contributor account.
If you have an active account you can sign in here and begin uploading.
If you don't have an active account, you can apply to become a contributor by submitting an application here.
Once you are an active contributor, you can begin uploading your files.
What types of files can I upload?
- Photos
- Videos
- Vectors
Photo Requirements
- File Formats: JPG or JPEG
- Colormode: sRGB
- Image Size: Min 4mp, Max 50mp
- File Size: Max 50MB, Min 1MB

Video Requirements
- File Formats: MP4, MOV, R3D or MOGRT
- Resolution: 4K, 2K, HD, SD
- Frame Rate: 18, 23.98; 24, 25; 29.97; 30; 47.95; 47.96; 48; 50; 59.94; 60
- Duration: 10 seconds to 120 seconds
- File Size: Max 10GB
- Codecs: H.264, ProRes (422 / 422 HQ / 4444), Redcode

Vector Requirements
- File Format: EPS 10
- Image Size: Min 4mp, Max 25mp
- File Size: Max 50MB, Min 1MB

How do I upload?
Once you are ready to upload you will have two methods of uploading to choose from. We recommend using the Web Upload method for batches with 100 files or fewer, and FTP for batches larger than 100 or multiple videos.
To begin uploading click Upload button in top right corner:
General Tips
Make sure you upload high-quality files with commercial value. If your files are original and unique to our platform, they have a higher chance of ranking and getting more sales.
Web Upload Tips
- Drag and drop up to 100 assets or less into the drop zone
- JPG or JPEG for photos
- MP4, MOV, R3D or MOGRT for video and motion graphics
- EPS for vectors
- When your assets are done importing you can view and submit them from the Add Data page

Click the Upload Error bar to see the details of what caused the error:
FTP Upload Tips
- If you have more that 100 assets please use our FTP upload method
- To upload via FTP you will need to download an FTP client like FileZilla, Forklift or CyberDuck
- Once installed to connect simply copy and paste your FTP credentials provided and click connect
- After you have added all of the files that you want to upload to the FTP server click the Process FTP Uploads button
- When your assets are done importing you can view and submit them from the Add Data page
Click the credential fields to copy to your clipboard, and connect to your FTP client. Once successfully connected you can add your files to the client. After they have transferred you can click Process FTP Uploads to begin importing your files:

If your files cannot be imported or processed you will see the errors displayed after the transfer is complete:
If you are uploading any AI content, please make sure to click the AI Generated checkbox and find the software you used to make it in the dropdown menu below.
